2. Carleton University Entrance Scholarship

Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarships in Canada
This scholarship is awarded annually to 16 doctoral Candidates at any Canadian institution in a humanities or social sciences program. This program offers doctoral candidates the skills to translate their ideas into action and become leaders to better serve the community.
Award value: $60,000 annually for three years
Eligibility:
- Candidates must be pursuing their full-time doctoral programs in Humanities or Social Science study at a Canadian institute.
- Candidates’ research must be linked to one of the Foundation’s four themes: Human Rights and Dignity, Responsible Citizenship, Canada and the World, and People in their Natural Environment.
Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships
This scholarship intends to attract and attain world-class doctoral students in Canada, making Canada a global leader in research and learning. This scholarship was named after former Governor General of Canada, George Vanier.
Award value: $50,000 annually for three years
Eligibility:
- Candidates must be enrolled in the full-time doctoral program at a Canadian institute
- Have scored a minimum GPA of 3.5 in the last two years of the previous study program.
Ontario Graduate Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students pursuing their graduate studies at Ontario’s designated universities.
Award Value: $5,000 a session or $10000 for two sessions or $15000 for three sessions
Eligibility:
- Students must be studying at a designated Ontario university
- Candidates must show an excellent academic merit
