With an acceptance rate of 75%, admission to the University of Winnipeg is moderately selective, which means admissions are hard to some level.

All international students who apply to the University of Winnipeg may receive admission decisions for their application within 6 to 8 weeks of applying. The admission decision timeline for graduate programs may vary. However, the graduate applicants may receive an admission decision between March and April for the fall semester.

The University of Winnipeg offers courses in three terms. The Fall and Winter terms each have 12 weeks of classes and 2 weeks of evaluation. A full course (6 credit hours) is normally taught over two terms, and a half course (3 credit hours) over one term.
