Why Australia is a Popular Choice Among Nepali Students

At the fair, it became clear why Australia continues to be a top study destination:

  • High Academic Standards – Globally recognized degrees with strong career outcomes.

  • Nepali Community – Cities like Sydney, often called Nepal’s “eighth province”, offer a sense of belonging abroad.

  • Growing Demand in IT & AI – Fields like Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science are attracting the majority of Nepali students.

  • Advice on balancing work and study abroad

  • Career guidance for returning and contributing to Nepal’s workforce

“Of course, there are plenty of opportunities to come back and work in Nepal after studying abroad. If students stay focused on their studies and gain skills, they can definitely return and achieve something here. Many who came back have already contributed something new to Nepal’s IT sector.”
